Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Larkana is an important secondary and intermediate level education board of Sindh which organizes the matric and intermediate class annual and supply exams in the districts of Larkana, Dadu, Jacobabad, Khairpur, Kashmor, Shikarpur, Kambar and Shadadkot. All the public and private schools and colleges in these districts are affiliated with Larkana Board while the annual exams of SSC and HSSC are attended by thousands of regular and private students every year. Matric exams are held in March and April while inter exams are held during the month of May and June.

Admissions in new academic year of SSC part 1 & 2 and HSSC part 1 & 2 in the schools and colleges affiliated with BISE Larkana begins two or three months earlier that the start of the academic year. New educational year for SSC and HSSC class starts in April and September respectively.

Due to change in the examination syllabus and paper pattern every year, BISE Larkana uploads the model papers for the students so that they can get information about the latest changes as the model papers are made according to the new paper pattern and syllabus. Past papers help the students to prepare the exams by keeping in view important questions and types of questions of previous exams. These past papers are available from the market.

Larkana Board issues the date sheets of matric and inter papers two months before the start of the exams while roll number slips are issued one month earlier than the exams. Students can view their date sheets at the official site of the board while they can receive their roll number slips at their addresses or can take them from the board of the office. Roll number slips can also be downloaded from the site of the board.

BISE Larkana announces the results of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class exams after two or three months of the exams. Soon after the result announcement, the results are uploaded at the official site of the board while the result cards are also mailed to the mentioned addresses of the students along with the declaration of the results.
