Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Larkana Sindh has the authority to conduct annual and supply exams of SSC and HSSC classes in the district of Larkana and its adjoining districts. Every year, Larkana Board organizes the annual exams of 9th and 10th class in the months of March and April while the 11th and 12th class annual exams are held during the months of May and June. All the public and private schools and colleges in the above mentioned districts are affiliated with Larkana Board and every year thousands of regular students from these institutes and private students of the area participate in the annual exams of matric and intermediate class under BISE Larkana.

The written and practical papers of both SSC and HSSC exams are held separately and practical papers are held after written papers. After few months of the exams, BISE Larkana announces the results of the annual exams of matric and intermediate class. 9th & 10th class annual exams results are announced in July or August while 11th & 12th class annual exams results are declared by BISE Larkana in September or October. Soon after the announcement, the results are uploaded at the official site of Larkana Board for all the concerned students.

The supplementary exams of matric and intermediate class are held after couple of months of annual exams results and the SSC and HSSC supply exams also known as improvement exam or 2nd annual results are announced by BISE Larkana after one or two months of the supply exams of 9th/ 10th and 11/ 12th class.
